I Need Advice!!!

If i have a stock 95 Civic, i just bought 2 new 12 inch subs... Do i need to buy a whole new head unit, or can i just hook them up to my stock cd player???

My advice Dan, to go online or find info on your car and see if you Civic has a stock amp hooked up to it... i highly highly doubt it would bc it is outdated 1995.. But if it doesnt you'll most likely have to buy a whole new head unit, so it has the amp hook-ups...

I agree with Jeb, i think that would be the best idea, if that doesnt work i would go and take it to a garage.. someone professional who could hook up the amp, head unit, etc.. unless your a pretty good technician, which would save you a load of money..

I think you should get a new CD player either way. I don't like the stock CD player in the 95 civic. Plus you could get a CD/mp3 player that pushes more watts for like $200.

Definently get a brand new cd/mp3 player Dan.. eventhough they cost a lot of money, theyre well worth it..and they last for a long time if treated properly..

You can hook them up to your normal deck, but you would need to purchase an amplifier. Whether with an old deck or a new one you would new an amplifier to get enough power for two 12" subs. It might just sound allot better with the new deck.
