Yahoo! Answers: How does one remove cheesy Walmart car exterior accessories?

Thank author of this post/commentMy friends added a few adhesive accessories to my car as a prank. I would like to remove these without scratching the paint, but they are attached really well for some reason ha ha. I need this trash off after Tuesday, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! The thing is, the pieces are big plastic add-ons. Ex: a hood scoop, side skirt vents, side engine vents. I'm not sure if that will change the process of removal. Thank you for the answers though.

This is a pretty much serious prank. Wow! If I were on your place, I would definitely give him a big blow. This is really very difficult on your part, I'm sure. You might end up scratching the whole part where those exterior accessories where glued on. I suggest that you really have to be very careful in dealing with it. Or might as well try to bring your car in a car wash or something. They might know how to take them out.

If I were you guys, I would go for Unah's suggestion in here. If you really tried hard to pull out that adhesives you might end up driving a dented car. Better bring the car to a car shop that really knows how to deal with that kind of problem. Anyways, good luck on your car and hope that you would got the patience for your foolish friends. Good day.

If I had walmart accessories on or in my car, I'd sent the whole thing to the junkyard ASAP

If I were you, I'd go to these so-called friends who pulled this prank on you to make them pay for the damage that they did to your car.

Are you sure that they're your friends? With friends like them, who needs enemies.

They should help you clean up this mess. It's not easy and you shouldn't have to do it yourself. Call your friends and see if they are really your friends. If they are, they would help you take off all those dirt on your car. Hopefully, they will learn their lesson and not do it again.

I don't really put a lot of stuff in my car. I am pretty contended as long as it smells good and clean. But of course to add up additional attraction I tend to buy some exterior accessories. Just make sure that when you buy them they are of good quality of course. Here's the link where you can find more exterior accessories. I am sure you will like them.
