| Hello yahoo, I was in a car accident a year ago, and now i am being sued. any ex One year ago, i was in a car accident, i was driving by myself. I was hit while making a left turn at an intersection. the light was yellow as i was turning, when i was trying to turn i saw a car coming pretty fast(45-50mph) on a 25mph road limit. I was trying to make my full left turn when suddenly i was crashed. It appears to me that the car that hit me was trying to beat the yellow light. when we got off the cars i was bleeding from my head because i hit the sun visor on top. The other car had 2 women and one man. the women in the back seat had a broken arm for not wearing a seat belt, and the guy in the passenger side just had a minor cut in the arm from glass, the driver was ok, just shocked. I was given a ticket for no license and for unsafe left turn. I was blamed for the accident, my brothers insurance paid for their damages for about 80% for damages and injuries. Now a year later, they seem to want to sue me for (a) general and special damage.(b)expenses incurred for past medical care and treatment and for future medical treatment expenses.(c) past and future lost wages. (d) cost incurred herein. (e) damage costs. problem is my job was caught on fire last week so im jobless. Nobody hiring. I need a lawyer. The plaintiffs blame me but i blame both because why were they driving so fast. why couldn't they wait for the green light instead of rushing through, i was almost through. Bad things happen, accidents happen, but i have felt bad since the crash too. I am at no point to have more problems right now. what should i do. Is there any way if i get a lawyer to not have the situation so tough. i can barely get by these days, im always on the bus to get around. I pass through hunger many times. If it weren't for my brother i would have no place to stay. what can you reccomend me to do. (I do work but only a few days , barely enough to get by) Thank you all for reading and understanding my situation. I know i messed up, but maybe you can give me some advice or any help from experience. very much appr |
