How do you feel about the level of safety in NASCAR?

Thank author of this post/commentAfter all the crashes I've seen since the COT was introduced, it seems as if every person who wrecked just walked away from the accident. Honestly, I think we're at a point where NASCAR racing is more dangerous for the fans than the drivers. Look at Carl Edwards' crash at Talladaga last year. That was viscious, but he just walked away. However, the fans on the other side of the catch-fence weren't so lucky when the debris smacked into them. Personally, I love the danger element(sounds stupid, I know), but I just wanted to see what everyone else thinks.
