| Yahoo! Answers: Police protocol when dealing with street racers? What would an officer normally do if he were to catch two or more cars street racing? If one ran would he follow the guy who runs or call ahead for him and stay with the other car? If both cars try to run who does the officer chase? Whoever appears to have the slower car? Will he radio into a neighboring county if he didn't see you cross the county line? Please don't answer with "Do not street race" "Do not break the law" There is nothing illegal about this information. It is only for my curiosity. Thank you so much in advance I'm talking about the "safer" ones who race on the freeway around no cars at 3am and could only hurt themselves. The dangerous ricer idiots who swerve in and out of traffic who kill the pregnant lady deserve to be locked up. |

I think the best way for police to handle any kind of outlaws... especially racers is to "shoot first and ask questions later". |
