19d cav scout or 11x infantry recruit...ARMY? I am really interested in these two jobs but i just can't decide between the two, but at the moment I am leaning towards cav scout but I have heard that infantry is where its at! I am also really interested in jump school and would love to have some wings...
Wei, take a look at the army website. Sometimes there is online help and you can get your all your questions answered. I do think you need to make the right choice straight up, so try to gather as much information as you can about each position before you decide.
Well, you need first to know what position fits your own skills and characteristics. Cav scout and infantry have some differences. When you speak of cav scout, you need to report positions and activity, and usually work in smaller teams. Cav focuses more on technical training. Here you would work with expert people. While infantry on the other hand, I think it is more on field work. You decide for yourself, base on your interest and abilities.
It would really be better for you to follow the one you really want where your passion is. It will not be good for you if you follow something because you are told to do so. If you think you are suited for cav scout then go for it. if you think you will excel with infantry the n you go for it. There's always a way to excel if you want to. It is a matter of making the right decision anyway.
Why is it that you want to go to the army in the first place? If it is because you love the career and want to pursue this throughout your life, then perhaps choose one where there is much opportunity for advancement so that you have somewhere to rise in rank in your life. If you just want a short term opportunity and experience, or if you are joining for college loans, then I would go for jumping and getting wings, as that sounds very fun.
